What's New for RDDS Version 2.0:
1. Entry Page
The RDDS entry page has been given a new look and feel. From the entry page you can request access, view helpful hints and find out about RMGSC. You can also access the new Order Tracking System right from the entry page.
2. Order Form
Raster products ordered will no longer display a product ID for each product ordered at the bottom of the order form. Once an order for raster data has been processed, the order form will be replaced by the Order Confirmation page. The Order Confirmation page will contain the following:
- A unique order number that will be applied to each product in the order. Use this number to track the status of the order.
- A unique product number for each product in the order.
- The status of each product ordered (i.e., submitted or No data in AOI - product not submitted).
- The order parameters and contact information.
- A link to the Order Tracking System to monitor your order.
We recommend that you save or print this page until your order is completed and your data has been received.
3. Order Tracking System
The Order Tracking System provides users with an up-to-date status of their order both during and after processing. Completed orders will be downloaded using the Order Tracking System. You can access the Order Tracking System one of three ways: 1) from the entry page, 2) from the Order Confirmation Page, or 3) from the RDDS Viewer interface. Enter an order number to view the status of a specific order OR enter the email address provided in the contact information and view all orders for that email address.
4. Email Notification
The user will no longer receive an email for each individual product as they are completed. You will received one Order Confirmation email when the order is submitted and one Order Complete email when the entire order is completed. The Order Complete email will contain a link to the Order Tracking System for order pickup. If for some reason a problem occurs during the processing of your order, you will receive an email notification.
5. Downloading Data
Data is now downloaded directly from the Order Tracking System. You can access the Order Tracking System one of three ways: 1) from the entry page, 2) from the Order Confirmation Page, or 3) from the RDDS Viewer interface.
Helpful Hint:Give your orders unique and meaningful order names (i.e. CrookedHorseFire_drg)
